More packages and Albolene product review!

Hey guys! How are you doing? I'm still trying out the EDM pressed powder, so far so good. I will do a formal review on that later. Also, I just ordered some more soaps from Outtabody on Etsy, so I will do a formal review on that when I receive them. So far I'm LOVING them!!!

I waited for my package from Crabtree & Evelyn because apparently DHL didn't take notes while I was rescheduling the delivery. Good thing it was very close to my house, otherwise I'd be pissed. I ordered a bunch of stuff from their Semi Annual Sale (which is still going on right now), and I was so excited to see how nice they looked!

The total:

Jojoba Oil Hand Recovery $3 each, retails for $21.
I was very surprised that the Jojoba Oil hand recovery was a scrub instead of a cream, but it worked SO WELL, my hands are SOOOOOO soft right now. My BF can't stop touching my hands. It smells very soothing as well.

White tea/Birch & Pink Grapefruit/cucumber Body Mists $3 each, retails for $15 (Haven't tried yet)

Pudy Cat Comfort Cream $3 (haven't tried yet, but it looks so cute)

Found Eau de Parfume $11.25 Retails for $45 (It smells sooo good)

Lost Eaud de parfume $11.25 Retails for $45

Nadira Eau De Toilette $20 retails for $40 (I think this one is on sale for $10 now, but I don't really like the smell, it could be "Exotic", but to me it's "Grandma-ish. I got it purely for the packaging, it's so DREAMY!)
It looks to luxurious! I just love looking at it!

Freesia EDT $20, retails for $40. I love freesia scented things! It's so romantic and soothing! Teh bottle looks very classic and sophisticated.

I got my BF some Sandalwood Shaving cream $7.5, retails for $15. I think Sandalwood is a very sexy scent. I hope my BF will like it! Although I don't really know what it does, but I love how cute the little silver thing is!
I also got some (generous) freebies as extras! However, they are for men...poopie!

On to my product review: ALBOLENE!
I just got it like 2 weeks ago, and has been using it ever since. However, I took the pics the day I got it, that's why it looks new. Here's the product:
It retails for $11.99, and it's sold at CVS. It might seem pricey, but IT'S FOR 12 OZ! The bottle's HUGE! Also, a little bit goes a long way, so it will last me a long time! I've been using it for 2 weeks now, and it doesn't really look used.

When you open it, it looks like vaseline:
It feels like vaseline too! Get a little bit on your finger...

Rub it on your skin gently. It seriously melts into my skin. It just dissolves all the makeup! I was like o.O!!!!! WOW!

Here's how my eyes w/ makeup look today!

Rub, rub...

Look ma! I got a black eye!

Oh well, might as well get a black face!

After you rubbed it all over your face, you will feel kinda greasy! No worries, take a warm damp towel, and wipe everything away, and this is what you have:

My skin was SO soft, I didn't even have to use a moisturizer afterwards! I was SO impressed! This will last me WAY longer than my ex-love MAC Cleanse Off Oil (which was $21 for 5 oz). I LOVE IT!

Also, here's my FOTD testing out EDM Pressed powder in Fairly light.

Products used:
Face:
Coverblend concealer in light under my eyes
EDM Pressed powder in Fairly Light with 187 (otherwise it will get kinda heavy looking)
The brown from Milani Sunset Duo in Sunset Shore to contour

Cheeks:
EDM Pressed blush in All smiles (apple with MAC 129)
EDM Pressed blush in light pink (highlight, reminds me of a cooler version of MAC Porcelain Pink MSF)

Eyes;
MAC Paintpot in Barestudy
NYX Trio in Copacabana (all three colors) (SO NATURAL!)
EDM Pressed powder in Olive Fair (WAY too light for me, but it looks like Chinois e/s by Stila, so I use it as a highlight since I love matte highlighters)
Stila smudgepot in black
Maybelline Full & Soft mascara
L'oreal lash out mascara

Lips:
NYX l/g in Candy Shop (dead on for MAC Heatherette l/g in Sock Hop, but smells kinda cherry-ish, not my fave, but it looks AWESOME. SO juicy!)

That's it, you guys! Hope you enjoyed that! Good night!

xoxo,
Tao

Ok, so after crabtree haul, I am soo effing tempted to go to the one near my place, lol. That Abolene stuff looks good. Yeah I go through my MAC Oil cleanser pretty quick too so that sounds like a good alternative. Can't wait to see your next haul lol.

Does your mailman recognize you now after delivering so many packages? lol. I'm jealous of your hauls. :P

Quick question - do you find that the pressed powder offers the same coverage as, say, Intensive or Semi-matte?

I first heard about Albolene from some friends that acted in theater. Apparently, it's the only thing they'd found that really got the heavy stage makeup they wore off the face. It's awesome stuff!
