Dun dun DUN!

I think I busted my knees, more specifically, my left knee.

I heard a distinct CRACK when I was doing the wall lunges today. At the time it didn't bother me that much, it didn't hurt like I broke it or anything, so I just continued on w/ the workout. However, 30 minutes after I finished my workout, it's hurting like a mofo. It cracks everytime I move it. Although I feel a tiny pain in the right knee, I can definitely feel it in the left knee.

I don't know what I can do to ease the pain. I'm mainly upset because I dont' know if I can keep up w/ the P90X workout from now, I was doing so well too! I was working out every single day for like 1 hour each day. I don't know if my knee can handle keep up with that. I think I need to go see a doctor to make sure nothing's seriously injured...

I'm upset.

Awww you should definetly see a doctor if it still hurts tomorrow!
Pain in the knee is no fun, it can get really bad!

Definitely see a doctor. Also, when you do wall squats, be sure that your knees do not go past your ankles. Glucosamine also helps prevent joint injuries. Hope your knee stops hurting soon!

hope you're ok! but definetly go see a doctor. knee injuries are painful and can just get worse over time! better safe than sorry, right?

Tao, you have to see the doctor and please do not be upset... :( *Hugs* but girl, try to work out every other day, not everyday, probably your body is strained..get well dear and update us!

Gosh! No slimming regimen is worth busting your knees - it could lead to long-term damage. Get it checked out, even if you don't feel the pain anymore. *speaking from 1st hand experience here*

oh no! i think you should give it a little rest, and if it continues to hurt definately go to the doctor! but dont give up, once its better you can keep going :)

Get yourself to an Ortho specialist immediately. Stop this exercise until you get a Dr. OK.

You may have torn your meniscus.

STOP THIS PROGRAMME IMMEDIATELY -- or you may find yourself having knee surgery--take it from some one who has had BOTH knees done!

Hey Tao! I'm doing my undergrad in Kinesiology, so while I'm not a physiotherapist or anything, I can tell you that it's probably from overuse. It happened to me before too, and the only way to really let it get better is to give it anywhere from 4-7 days of rest. You can try using some ice on it, but just give it a few days, it'll get better, I promise!
