Hi guys! I'm sure everyone's been hauling like crazy during MAC Sumo sale. Like everyone else, I ordered a few goodies I've been lemming as well.
--MAC Face and Body foundations in C2, C3, and C5.
--MAC MSF in Refined
--MAC MSF in Perfect topping
--MAC MSF in Gold Deposit
Some of you might think that I'm crazy for ordering 3 foundations, but I've heard great things about the F&B foundations so I wanted to give them a try when there's a special. I'm thinking of mixing C2 and C3 for my perfect match, and C5 as my liquid bronzer (works AMAZING well!). I've been using them recently, and they held up pretty well in 100+ degree weather that has 80% humidity. However, their coverage is VERY light though, so you need to use a concealer to cover up imperfections. I will do a formal review on that.
I'v lemmed the Sugarsweet MSFs when the collection came up, but couldn't justify the $27 price tag. However, w/ the 25% off special, I caved. The textures of these 2 MSFs are both very finely milled and NOT chunky. It gives the skin a great glow that's very subtle. Gold deposit, on the other hand, is very metallic and is great to use as a bronzer for ppl w/ tanned skintone.
This is a light golden peach MSF. It's got some light gold, pearly beige, neutral brown, and peach veinings throughout the pan.
Perfect Topping MSF:
Light lavender, Light ivory, dark peach, cocoa veinings throughout the pan. It looks light pink on the skin though.
Gorgeous 24K gold. It doen'st look orange on the skin, which is great! It's got a lot more obvious shimmer than the previous 2.
Swatches: L-R Gold Deposit, Refined, Perfect topping
Anyways, I will do some FOTDs w/ these soon, so please stay tuned!
