He left..... (pic heavy)

and I cried my eyes out! I didn't know how it'd be until it happened. However, after he left, my friends called me up to go to Orlando with them, so I wouldn't be bored. I shopped.....A LOT. Who said retail therapy doesn't do anything?

Anyway, here's the FOTD I did when I went out with my friends. I attempted doing makeup because I didn't want to look all corpse-y.

What I used:

Face:
--Cinema Secret Ultimate foundation in 301A
--Coverblend concealer in Beige over imperfections/under eye circles
--Ben Nye poudre luminere in Banana

Cheeks:
--Chanel Bronze Universel as a bronzer
--Mark blush in Sunlove Glow
--MAC Soft and Gentle MSF as a highlight

Eyes:
--TKB Trading in "All love green" on lid
--Stila e/s in Chinois on brow bone
--Stila smugepot in Black
--TKB Trading in "Aladdin's lamp" on lower lash line
--L'oreal extra collagen mascara
--ELF natural falsies (HATE the white band)

Lips:
--Mostly nothing, but in some pics I was wearing MAC Posh it up Plushglass

Close ups:

Cam-whore:
My WTF of the day face:

Look ma! My face and neck blend~

I'm out. Peace.
Tao

Hey Tao,

just wanted to let you know that it does get easier. I was with my boyfriend for 2 years and moved away about a week before our 2 year anni. At first it was really difficult but now it's been about a year and I miss him, but it doesn't sadden me. I have been lucky in the fact that I have visited twice now. I talk to him several times a day, but always short conversations.

PhD's are so worth it! My hubby just got his (physics) and is off job hunting. It's worth it in the end, but a lot of work, for both of you, in the interim! Just let him know you'd better be in the dedication!

Don't be sad, smile. It increases endorphins...and chocolate...it makes the world a better place.
retail therapy works, because you're expending all your energy in hunting capturing and paying for products, and when you do get it it raises endorphins...at least that's what I tell my dad when he sees me coming home with my bill in one hand and my booty in the other :)...he's kind enough to shake his head and take the bags into my room and sigh over the bill wordlessly.
I only do this on days where I feel like the world is going fall apart.

honey, I'm in a long distance relationship too and its going to be 2 years for me. I know exactly how it feels. But dont worry the distance will only make your relationship stronger, its going to be very rewarding at the end of it. And you will both learn to appreciate each other a lot more when you finally see each other. you got something to look forward to when holiday comes :) work hard and keep loving.
