Well you're obviously depressed due to stress and pressure,its nothing to be ashamed of or scared of. Happens to more ppl than u think. Ask your closest friends and family to help you out and go see a specialist.Hope u feel better.

hey Tao. Try to get some rest, I know with grad school and other stress, life can be difficult. Lavender oil helps me go to sleep...maybe you should try it?I hope you are well despite the stress. I love your tutorials and wait for them weekly. <3
You can DIE! Now now to bed. I know just how you feel as I only sleep about 4-6 hours a day. Never enough. but NOT 6 days without any sleep. Now go!
You are going to be fine. You just need to get some sleep, I know it sounds simple (and I know it's not). Try to take it easy! Stir a tablespoon of honey into a mug of hot water (and lemon if you like) an hour before you sleep. When I'm ill and restles, I drink that concotion mixed with a tablespoon of brandy. It really knocks you out =PHope you feel better soon!

Wow...your grad program must be intense. I'm in grad school too so I feel your pain. I have 2 advanced biology exams in a row (mon & tues) and my parents have decided to visit this weekend after I told them not to. So, I will be running on little sleep as well as I jam weekend studying time into, well...NOW, lol. Don't worry. You'll get through it. Some of these comments have great advice too!

Awww Tao, everything will be ok soon! Don't worry :)As an other Anon said, try some lavender oil mist on your pillow. It's relaxing.Try to have a routine before to go to bed. I, personally listen some great calm music I usually love (something I can listen over and over). It makes my "bad" thoughts go away.:)
Don't worry about school so much! your health is more important! maybe you can try autogenic training, its like saying your mind to "shut up" I hope you get well soon!
Remember that life is full of ups and down ( for everyone). Whatever it is that your going through remember: " This shall pass too!!!!"Hang in there, but get some sleep some sleep first!!!

Tao, please get some sleep!! I'm sure that ALONE can solve a lot of your stresses. Sleep deprivation is one of the worst forms of torture. All of us are rooting for you to do well in grad school, but you don't have to produce all A's or anything.... please don't put so much pressure on yourself!
Girl, get some sleep. You can do some serious irreparable damage to your health (like die) without sleep. If you need to take time off away from school, please do so. All that stress is not worth your health. Take a step back, rethink, rest, prioritize what is important. Grad school will still be there. But you need to take care of yourself first.

It's not a joke : go to a doctor quickly !!! You will can be insame with no sleep or die !!! The long experience is 11 days without sleep, the subject is die !!!Without 24h of nosleep, the body begin to devellop sign of stress (like hallucinations, bad mood, crazy thinking, etc).Go now to a doctor !!! It's really important !!!

I have been there, you really need to find a way to de-stress. I know it's easier said than done, but you can't ignore your body's emergency flags flaring up. Everyone works differently so I can't give you a one size fits all solution. What happened to me was I couldn't go to sleep until 9 am for weeks and then I had to wake up for class at 10 am! I eventually realized that I was depressed about where I was living and as soon as I moved back my sleeping problems went away. So you need to find the root of your problem and really attept to fix it. Good luck!
Tao - I seriously hope you have taken some antihistamines or something to help you sleep!If I have problems sleeping I just take this or strong codeine tablets (only occasionally!) - no coffee or caffeine - extensive sweaty walk and then warm bath (not shower) and SLEEP.Holy cow girl - you will turn into Keith Richards if you aren't careful! I seriously hope you are better cos not sleeping for 6 days is Keith territory!!!Take care my dearBV
