Hi guys! Sorry I've been MIA! I've been in a required MAC Basic Training program all week long.
It's 7 hrs a day for 5 days. We go in, have fun, do what we love, eat, and be mind-fucked by the overwhelming amount of information we had to know.
This is our note book. Unfortunately I didn't get the most updated version, but I think the content is all the same.
This is our trainer April. She's 5 months preggers! Congrats to her! I've noticed that A LOT of ppl are pregnant as of lately. Interesting. Anyways, I LOVE April. She made learning so much fun! We played games everyday and did makeovers on each other. Please excuse my face, we had other ppl do our Peak-Hour-Demo (PHD, which refers to that extremely busy Saturday where everyone wants a makeover and there are a million ppl at the counter).
They fed us WELL! We had breakfast and lunches <--legitly awesome lunches. I forgot to take pics of lunches though :(
Here are some of the activities:
April demonstrating how to do drastic contouring:
April demonstrating how to do a PHD: The model (who is also a fellow MAC artist, is GOOOOOOOOORGEOUS! Hello Nicole Kidman!)
Review games! We had 2 teams. Team Leopard Luxe and Team Viva Glams. I was on VG.
My first face chart! It is le suck.
Where we learned foundation matching:
The best part? GRATIS! April was SOOOO sweet. My coworkers said that they've only gotten one piece before, but I guess April liked us more :) She said that the lint roller/tic tacs are essential for the counter, and the scented candle is for us to relax at home.
Yes, I got Stereo Rose MSF. *Happy dance*
The rest were Milan Mode and Brave New Bronze l/s.
Ripe and Ready prolong wear
I also got Vibrant Grape e/s and a Fix + rose. :)
Last but not least, I got a Thank You card from April. :) I adore her!
I'm sad that the training is over, but I'm excited to go back to work on Sunday and used the techniques I've learned.
I also took a lot of pics for my Fabulous Felines FOTDs. Stay tuned for those!
