Daiso Haul!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!!

I don’t know how many of you have been to a Daiso, but it’s essentially a Japanese dollar store where most things are $1.50. Now you guys know I love me some cheap thrills, so me+Daiso=a math made in Heaven.

Today I’d like to share my recent haul with you. I haven’t really had a chance to play with them all yet, but I will.

The whole lot:

I got quite a few skincare items (I think they were $2/each):
Rice Wine Lotion
Cleansing Cream with Tamarind
Charcoal Cleansing Cream
Rich Q10 toner

Sheet Mask—These are the ones you have to moisten with toner. Apparently sheet masks are all the rave in Asia.

Mascara base—More fiber than a lot of the drugstore primers I’ve tried. It ain’t no Shiseido mascara base, but it’s only $1.50 so I can’t really complain.

Pore Cleaning Stick—I’m eager to try this on Bryan! Maybe next episode of TABS? J

Have you tried any products from Daiso? What do you recommend? Please let me know down below.

Thanks for stopping by!

Quick Drugstore Haul: February 2015

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Today I’d like to share a little impromptu haul. I was just wandering around the makeup aisles at my local Walmart/Ulta like a cool kid. I cannot wrap my head around just how many new collections/products are out for Spring 2015.

I really had to restrain myself and only picked up a few things:

What I picked up at Walmart:

Milani Floral Blush in 05 Coral Love—It’s a beautiful matt pure coral. It’s a LITTLE chalky when swatched, but we’ll see how it performs on the cheeks. The color is TO DIE FOR though!

Wet N’ Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer in Fair (Forgot to take a close up pic)—Let’s be honest. Who could turn down a product with a name that’s full of alliteration for only $3.99?

What I picked up at Ulta (I kinda went cray since they were on sale):

Ulta Color Pure pigment—A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I cannot even
with flash L-R: Henna, Messa, YOLO, Icing, Sepia, Riviera
without flash L-R: Henna, Messa, YOLO, Icing, Sepia, Riviera
I can’t wait to play around with the goodies :D Please stay tuned for more detailed reviews!

Review: NEW Wet n' Wild Wetslicks Balm Stains--Spring 2015

Hi guys! Hope you are all having a great day!
I can’t help but rave about these new Spring 2015 Wet N’ Wild Megaslicks Balm Stains! I was able to find the new collections at my local Walgreens/Walmart (which surprisingly had the most complete new collection).
I was able to get 5 of the 6 new shades (I wasn't able to get Truffle in Paradise since it was sold out):
  • Made me pink--Mid-toned mauvey pink
  • Coral of the Story--Pinkish coral <--my favorite="" span="">
  • Red-ioactive--Pinkish red
  • Caffeine Fix--Neural brownish nude with silver shimmer
  • See if I carrot?--Bright orange

I’ve tried the original balm stains from Wet N’ Wild, and to be completely honestly, I wasn’t a huge fan. They come in the typical twist-up/no need to sharpen packaging. The stain they left behind wasn’t true to color, and they were mostly more drying than I liked. While they were only $2.99 each, I thought there were better products.
This launch, however, changed my opinion about the Megaslicks balm stains. I feel that Wet N’ Wild might have changed their formula. They are so moisturizing with the added ingredient of acai palm oil. They feel so luxurious and slick, while providing the shiny and cushiony look to the lips.
They last perfectly for about 3 hours on the lips before fading if you don’t eat/drink. Otherwise, they are gone completely after 4ish hours.

Now on to the swatches:
Made me Pink

Coral of the Story

Caffeine Fix
See if I carrot? Sorry for the flakes. My lips were on fire.
Here's the how the lips look after Red-ioactive looks as a stain.
After the hand swatch was wiped off with a makeup wipe.
Overall, I give these a huge thumbs up!
Have you tried these yet? What's your favorite color? Let me know down below!
Thanks everyone!
